Best Instagram Spots at AYOP!

If there is one thing I love, it’s social media. It is that love and passion for Instagram that inspired myself and my friends to create Twirkers! Nonetheless, AYOP is the perfect place to spruce up your account and show people what they are missing out on. Here’s some of the best places to get the perfect Instagram posts, worthy of all the likes in the world!

Spot #1 BLUE CURTAIN

The Blue Curtain has become an infamous icon of the AYOP competition. Add in an “I Survived the Blue Curtain” tank by Only Twirlers, and it makes for the cutest post!

Spot #2: MONOGRAM ROOM

The Monogram Room is where you can pick up all your awards. With that in mind, you can simply take pictures outside of it, especially after a successful routine and it’s high placement! It is conveniently placed near the pretzel stand, but also the perfect place for Team USA announcements💙❤️

Spot #3: FIGHTING LEPRECHAUN

Found near the tunnels, this spot makes for a symbolic Notre Dame post and it‘s easy to find yourself down there after pageant awards. You can always make the picture funny and pretend to throw hands..

Spot #4: TOUCHDOWN JESUS

Not only is Touchdown Jesus a beautiful mosaic but it is the perfect spot to showcase your strut skills. It’s always exciting to see how creative you can get in front of it, plus, nearby there is a duck pond! This year, Freestyle Design Co. has a Touchdown Jesus inspired shirt!!

Spot #5: ND CIRCLE

Found in the entrance, this circle has the Notre Dame logo. It makes for a cool picture from up above on the stairs! But note: NO TWIRLING IS ALLOWED on the circle.

Spot #6: ENTRANCE

The entrance does include the ND Circle but there are also other cute pic ideas surrounding the circle. This includes the staircase and a place to sit down with a gold Notre Dame logo in the background!

Spot #7: DOME FLOOR

Although the blue floor has since been replaced with a gym floor, the outside area is still a bluish floor. It is a nice bit of color pop to add to your Instagram!

Spot #8: Hammes Bookstore

Found on the campus, this immaculate bookstore is truly one for the books. It is beautiful and also a convenient place if you still haven’t picked up your summer reading book.

Spot #9: CAMPUS

Just going outside, you can find SO many places to take pictures. Notre Dame is a breathtaking campus!

Spot #10: THE SIGN

This spot requires a little bit of searching to find, but it makes a super cute Insta spot. It has enough room on the sign to place trophies, crown, banner, and medals, as well as, whatever else you want to set on it. The area is covered in flowers to add a colorful factor!
